How long are files stored?
Retention depends on plan and link settings. By default, Free links expire after 7 days. Pro users can set custom expirations up to 90 days. Business plans support configurable retention policies.
Is encryption end-to-end?
We offer optional client-side end-to-end encryption (E2EE) where only the sender and recipients can decrypt content. Otherwise, files are encrypted at rest with industry-standard AES and protected in transit with TLS.
Do recipients need an account?
Recipients typically do not need an account to download files. Account requirements vary for advanced features like shared folders and team permissions.
